Bucks Fine Art needed a robust, tailored solution to manage their growing trade library and help internal teams and trade clients access thousands of artworks from hundreds of galleries across the UK.
Bucks Fine Art was already using Microsoft Navision for inventory management, but it lacked the speed and flexibility needed for order processing and showcasing artwork online. To solve this, we developed a custom WooCommerce website integrated directly with Navision through a dedicated middleware system.
Working with Alumio, we built a seamless Navision integration that linked their ERP with WooCommerce, normalising data across platforms. This ensured smooth communication and synchronisation between their existing processes and the new eCommerce platform. Our WordPress inventory management plugin played a vital role in connecting these systems.

Centralised Management
We developed an advanced art inventory management system within WordPress, supporting orders, client branding, trade pricing, and user roles. It now serves as BFA’s core CRM and WooCommerce inventory software for trade operations.
Satellite Gallery Websites
Each gallery runs on a satellite WordPress site linked to the main platform. Our custom plugin syncs artworks, stock levels, and artist preferences, creating a network of art gallery inventory software tied into a central hub.
Ongoing Feature Development
We continue to expand the platform with features like order syncing across sites, trade checkout functions, and deeper Navision integration. The system adapts to Buckingham Fine Arts' needs while staying reliable and future-proof.
